A number of people involved in the creation of GSM have sent me e-mails saying how the account of the Political History of GSM brought back memories of their own involvement in and contribution to GSM. I am always delighted to hear from others.

It would also be a great pleasure to hear from anyone who has been on the inside of any other important mobile radio developments…whether on standards, systems or mobile phones…and beyond GSM. For example, you will see under “Other Mobile History” an account of the very first 3G action.
